Christmas Eve 2011 at Holy Ghost Church
Following Compline, Holy Ghost sang Christmas songs with the young carolers providing wonderful vocals! Father Petro celebrated Christmas Eve Liturgy 2011 and was supported by our altar boys (l to r) Nick Tomari, Parker Stoken, Father Petro, Garrett Stoken, Charles Tomari and Christopher Wynne.
Christmas Greeting
We are still in the Christmas season and we remember to greet each other with: "Christ is Born!" and respond with: "Glorify Him!" In Ukrainian, we greet each other with: "Christos Raszdaietsia!" and respond with: "Slavite Yeho!"
We greet each other in this manner until 2 February - The Feast of the Encounter of Our Lord Jesus Christ with righteous Simeon.
St. Nicholas Visits Holy Ghost Church
St. Nicholas spent Sunday afternoon visiting Holy Ghost Church during the annual Christmas party. St. Nicholas presented gifts and gave blessings to the children. It was a wonderful afternoon spending time together as a parish and sharing the joys of the Christmas season.

EASTER EGG HUNT & SPAGHETTI DINNER PICTURES 2011
On Sunday, April 10, Holy Ghost hosted the annual Spaghetti Dinner and Easter Egg Hunt. We had a wonderful time with dozens of children finding the hidden eggs, winning candy and prizes, and of course, a visit by the Easter Bunny! Thank you for everyone who helped make the dinner a huge success.
LENTEN MISSION
Holy Ghost Church would like to thank Father Ihor Kolisnyk, the superior for the Redemptionist Fathers in Lviv, Ukraine, for providing a wonderful Lenten Mission to our parish during March 25 - 27. We truly appreciate Father Ihor for taking time away from his busy schedule to offer this mission.
TRICKY TRAY
The Holy Ghost Church would like to thank everyone who came to our annual Tricky Tray on Sunday, October 24, 2010. Wonderful people, prizes and food were present at the Tricky Tray---a fun Sunday afternoon for all. A very big "Thank You" to our Tricky Tray sponsors and parishioners who generously donated items and time to make this event a big success. We hope to see you all at our Tricky Tray in 2011!
SACRAMENT OF PENANCE
Congratulations to (l to r): Ryan Mattes, Christopher Wynne, Garrett Stoken and Talia Thatcher on receiving the Sacrament of Penance on April 25th, 2010! We pray that they grow in their faith always keeping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in their hearts.
EASTER EGG HUNT & SPAGHETTI DINNER PICTURES 2009
Although we had a chilly, overcast day for the Easter Egg Hunt on 29 March, over thirty children had a wonderful and fun Easter Egg Hunt with lots of candy, prizes and food! An extra-special visit from the Easter Bunny made the day special and memorable with lots of pictures which are available for your viewing pleasure and download. A delicious spaghetti dinner was also served in the church hall prior to and after the egg hunt. Thank you for everyone who helped make the dinner a huge success! A special "thank you" for Chrissy Mattes and Lori Wynne for planning, coordinating, decorating and making the Easter Egg Hunt and activities an afternoon to remember!

ST. NICHOLAS & CHRISTMAS PARTY PICTURES 2008
Holy Ghost Church held their annual Christmas Party on 23 December in the Church Hall. St. Nicholas visited the children, presenting them with a gift and blessings. RECYCLING FUNDRAISER
Please help support Holy Ghost Church by bringing in aluminum cans, foil or pie tins and dropping them off at the Church Hall (a large container has been labeled for this purpose).
We also gladly accept copper (e.g., wire, pipe) or brass (e.g., fittings) products that can be recycled.
Thank you for caring and helping to turn your recyclables directly into money for our parish!
This past quarter, we were able to turn our 80+ pounds of aluminum cans, foil and trays into a $45 donation to the Church funds. To date, over 600 pounds of aluminum have been donated for $300. Thank you, as always!
